Revo was founded in 1985.

Revo sunglasses were first created by utilizing lens technology developed by NASA as solar protection for satellites. Nearly three decades later, Revo is still world renowned for its rich tradition of technology and innovation - offering the clearest and most advanced high-contrast polarized sunglass collection available.

Each style is available in one size which is indicated in the product description, but we carry a large variety of frames in various sizes to fit almost every face.

The measurements in the product description indicate: width of lens, width of bridge, and length of temples. Each is measured in millimeters.

Yes! The Revo Sunglass collection is 100% polarized.

Revo lenses feature the Revo SurfacePro™ Protection System which is made up of four coatings including the Authentic Revo Oleophobic Coating, a permanent coating that repels virtually anything –water, oil, sweat, dirt, dust, ink, or even a fingerprint. The Authentic Revo Oleophobic Coating makes it easy to clean your lenses: simply wipe them with the microfiber sunglass pouch that comes with your Revo sunglasses. You can also clean your lenses by rinsing them with temperate water and soap, but is important to avoid using hot water to clean your lenses as it can damage them.

Revo Blue Water lenses are perfect cutting glare in bright conditions on the water with the classic heritage of our blue mirror coating. They are ideal for boating, sailing, fishing, skiing, baseball, softball, and basketball.

Revo Green Water lenses enable natural colors to pop and radiate by completely cutting through surface glare in medium and low light conditions. They are ideal for golfing, tennis, biking, cycling, motorcycling, driving, fishing, boating, sailing, skiing, hunting, and shooting.

Revo Graphite lenses enhance natural vibrant colors while blocking harmful rays and harsh glare. They are ideal for boating, sailing, fishing, baseball, softball, basketball, and tennis.

Revo Terra lenses actively filter the light spectrum to provide clear vision from trailhead to viewpoint. They are ideal of driving, motorcycling, biking, cycling, hunting, shooting, skiing, golfing, basketball, and tennis.

Revo Open Road lenses feature image intensifier filters to improve light adaptation in bright and low light situations while also precision tuning light transmission for greater sharpness, crispness, and contrast. They are ideal for driving, motorcycling, biking, cycling, skiing, golfing, tennis, hunting, and shooting.

The Revo Light Management System (LMS)™ is our proprietary light protection technology. Featuring the LMS, Revo lenses manage the full spectrum of light—blocking out the bad and allowing in the good—are 100% polarized, and selectively manage and filter all light in the color spectrum, with emphasis on blue light and HEV light.

The Revo SurfacePro™ Protection System is comprised of four coatings:

The Authentic Revo Mirror Coatings, Back Surface Protection Coating, Authentic Revo Oleophobic Coating, and Subsurface Protection. The Authentic Revo Mirror Coatings were developed from NASA technology used on space camera lens coatings, telescopes, satellite protection and space walks. These coatings represent the best in high-tech, performance. Revo sunglass lenses feature between 8 and 12 layers of coatings.

Back Surface Protection (BSP) Coating is a combination of protective filters and coatings that help reduce intrusive back surface reflections. Our proprietary BSP Coating delivers clear, sharp images and less eye strain.

The Authentic Revo Oleophobic Coating is a permanent coating that repels virtually anything –water, oil, sweat, dirt, dust, ink, or even a fingerprint.

Our Subsurface Protection prevents UV rays from seeping through surface scratches.

We use two types of lenses: Serilium™ Lenses, an exclusive lightweight, shatterproof lens formulated of polycarbonate, and Crystal Lenses, a higher form of Crown Glass that are scratch-resistant and are ground and polished to about the same standard of a camera lens.

Product Information

Your Revo Sunglasses are proudly made in Italy, the USA, and Mauritius, and all of our prescription sunglasses and lens repairs are processed at our state- of-the-art prescription lab in the USA.

Yes, Revo lenses block 100% UVA, UVB, and UVC light. Revo lenses also manage the full spectrum of light, including the effects of blue light and High Energy Visible (HEV) light.

Blue light is easily captured by the eye and has a softening effect on other colors that are harsher to our vision. Blue light adversely affects the ability of the eye to focus (visual acuity), thus making blue light management of the utmost importance in performance sunglass lenses.

High Energy Visible (HEV) light occurs between 355 - 500 nm. In recent studies, HEV light has been implicated as a cause of age-related macular degeneration. Revo lenses block all harmful rays between 280 and 400 nm, managing HEV light and controlling the critical area of 380 - 455 nm.

The measurements correspond in the following order: width of lens- width of bridge- length of temple. Each is measured in millimeters.

Motion Fit™ is our patented system for a custom and comfortable fit.

Our Spring Hinge provides a secure, comfortable fit with a greater range of motion.

Our Elastomeric Nose pad is a proprietary system made of slip reducing rubber that provides a more secure fit when active.

Buy Vision, Give Sight

The 'Buy Vision, Give Sight' campaign will end on December 31, 2020.

Revo is proud to have partnered with Bono and the Brien Holden Vision Institute (BHVI) to raise awareness about the Institute’s eye health programs and to provide aid to impoverished people around the world suffering from visual impairments.

The campaign will be conducted in the United States and Canada, as well as in European, Asian, and other countries selected by Revo and the BHVI. It is void where prohibited.

Revo is committed to donating a minimum of US $8.5 million to the Brien Holden Vision Institute, up to US $10 million. Your purchase does make a difference! During the campaign period, $10 from the purchase of each authentic Revo-brand product at www.revo.com and authorized retailers will go toward Revo’s donation to the Institute. We hope and expect that, at the conclusion of this 5-year campaign, your purchase will have helped raise more than the minimum donation for this incredibly important cause.

The lion’s share of the donation to the BHVI will be made in cash. The balance will be paid in kind, namely donated glasses for the BHVI’s vision centers around the world, and stocks.

You may make a donation online at www.brienholdenvision.org/public-health/donate-now.html, or mail a check to:

Brien Holden Vision Institute Foundation

We will post information at the end of the campaign. Stay tuned!

APPAREL PRODUCT INFORMATION

Revo apparel is made in Mauritius, China and Italy.

Moisture-wicking fabric pulls moisture away from your body to the exterior of the fabric keeping you cool, comfortable and dry.

Antimicrobial agents in the fabric prevent unwanted odors and bacteria from forming.

If something is water proof, it can be completely submerged in water for any amount of time with anything under or inside remaining completely dry. If something is water resistant, after a short period of time, pores will fill with water and anything under or inside will get wet.

When a fabric is breathable, it quickly absorbs and releases sweat. It’s lightweight, easy and ideal for high-performance activities.

Seam sealed refers to the process of sealing all holes and seams in waterproof gear, preventing any water or snow from getting inside and getting you wet.

2-way stretch fabrics stretch in one direction, either length - or width - wise; 4-way stretch fabrics stretch BOTH length and width.

When fabric is bonded, it is adhered to another fabric, creating one thick layer. A soft shell refers to a moveable blend of fabrics such as polyester and nylon that are usually water and wind-resistant, flexible enough for an active lifestyle and comfortable.

Coatings on the backside of fabrics can range from clear to color to pattern. Milky coated refers to fabrics coated with white color on backside. This coating is the highest level of protection against wind and water and is smooth to the touch.

Mini ball is a type of synthetic insulation that is used for heavy outerwear. The newest technology for insulation, this fill is comprised of small, mini ball clusters that retain warmth by trapping heat within.

Sorona fill is a DuPont biotech product. This type of insulation has fibers that are stain-resistant, highly durable and lightweight. It is most suitable for packable garments and has compact warmth without being heavy.

Rubberized fabric has a polymer coating on top of the fabric. The coating provides water resistance/waterproofing and stretch ability and may also provide non-slip and friction attributes. The fabric with this rubberized coating is usually bonded to poly or nylon blend fabrics on the backside.

Overall, the fit is active-contemporary. See product descriptions for style specifications.
